Back and sides are highly-flamed Koa, the soundboard is curly Redwood, the neck and headboard is ‘Ohi’a Lehua, the fingerboard is Eucalyptus Saligna, and the binding and headplate are Pheasant Wood. The peghead is inlaid with my “JAD” logo in Abalone and “Maui Girl”™ hula dancer in Mother-of-Pearl, and uses my proprietary Rear String Slot design for a headplate free of slots or tuning machines. The guitar has my signature abalone heelcap, and, along with all current guitarmasterworks guitars, uses my proprietary Projection Tuned™ BRACELESS soundboard design. This guitar is fitted with gold plated custom David Rodgers machine tuners with Koa buttons and “Maui Girl”™ engraving.
